New to physical therapy?

here are some answers

How do I know if your treatments are for me?

If you have a body with physical complaints, more than likely I can help. Your treatment is important to me and together we are entering a relationship of healing. If I cannot help, we will discuss other resources that may be of help.

How long will my visits last?

Your first appointment will be a comprehensive evaluation to determine the causative factors in your health condition and to develop an individualized care plan. Please bring your completed assessment and intake paperwork - these can be downloaded and completed ahead of time by clicking here. Your treatment sessions will last aproximately 1 hour. These sessions will vary in composition depending upon your ongoing needs.

What should I wear to Physical Therapy?

Wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing to allow for evaluation of joint movement. When possible wear clothing that allows for visualization of the problematic area. Please feel free to bring a change of clothes.

What should I bring to my visits?

Bring yourself, a smile and your intention for healing! Please also bring your referral from your physician if you have a prescribed therapy. To save time on your first visit bring your completed intake forms that you've downloaded from the site. I accept checks and all debit and credit cards except for American Express.

Do you accept my insurance?

Currently I can bill Auto and Worker's Compensation directly and I am 'in network' with the following insurance companies: BCBS, Educator's Mutual, Medicare, MultiPlan, Network Care.

Can I bring my children with me to my visits?

I recommend that you leave your children at home to get the full benefit from your visit. It will help you to relax and achieve the maximum benefit from your session.

How many visits will I need for Physical Therapy?

This will be determined after assessing your particular condition. In general, we should see some improvement in your condition within four visits. Return to complete health may require a more extended treatment plan, particularly with more complex conditions. Factors which determine course and length of treatment include: overall health, age, compliance with your individualized instruction, duration of symptoms and response to therapy.
