New paradigm
insurance and payments

We are in network with Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield and can bill directly for all covered benefits. Most health insurance plans exclude benefits for TMJ/TMD. We offer a cash pay plan for out of network insurances and TMJ/TMD treatments that are not covered by your insurance. If you have out of network insurance and are being seen for a diagnosis that is included in your benefits, we will generate an invoice for you, and you can then submit this invoice to your insurance company for reimbursement. We accept checks, all major credit cards, HSA and FSA cards, Venmo, and Zelle.

We encourage you to call your insurance company and ask questions about your physical therapy coverage. Please know that insurance companies instruct their employees to try to redirect you to clinics that are in network. These clinics typically see 3-4 patients an hour utilizing untrained aides or technicians with minimal interaction with a physical therapist and will want to see you 2-3 times per week.

Some questions to ask your insurance company are as follows:

  • What are my physical therapy benefits?
  • If applicable to you, “do I have specific TMJ/TMD coverage and, if so, what is that coverage?
  • How much is my deductible and copay or co-insurance?
  • Do I have out of network benefits, and if so, what are those benefits?

Why choose NPPT over in network physical therapy

  • High-quality, personalized, and hands-on care provided exclusively by a credentialed and licensed Physical Therapist with over thirty years of experience. She will quickly identify the root causes of pain and dysfunction and implement targeted and effective treatments.
  • Fifty to fifty-five minute focused sessions one time every one to two weeks facilitating faster recovery and fewer needed visits to accomplish your goals. We average four to six treatments across all conditions.
  • The overall expenses related to deductibles and copays, as well as the total number of physical therapy visits required at in-network clinics, are generally higher. This is particularly evident when considering the value and cost of your time invested in these sessions, including time away from work and commuting.
